Blotato: Repurpose Content and Post It Everywhere

Blotato is an AI tool for social media that takes one piece of content and turns it into many posts. You feed it a YouTube video, an article or a PDF, and it writes posts, builds carousels and makes short AI videos. Then it schedules them across nine platforms. It was built by solo founder Sabrina Ramonov, who says she made it because she needed it.

What does Blotato do?

Blotato has three jobs: make content, publish it and handle the replies.

To make content, its Sources feature accepts YouTube links, TikToks, X posts, articles, PDFs, audio files, plain text and live research questions. From those it writes posts and builds visuals from templates, such as whiteboard infographics, carousels and quote cards. It can also produce AI avatar videos with B-roll and image slideshows.

To publish, it posts to X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky and Pinterest. You can post now, pick a time or let it find the next free slot.

After posting, it can read comments and messages, reply, and run keyword-triggered DM replies on Instagram and Facebook. It also pulls your top posts by views, likes or comments.

Which features stand out?

  • Sources — turns videos, articles, PDFs and audio into ready-to-post content
  • Nine platforms — one schedule for X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky and Pinterest
  • AI video and visuals — avatar videos, slideshows, carousels and infographic templates
  • Comment and DM tools — reply from one place, plus DM automation on Instagram and Facebook
  • API and MCP server — lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI agents post for you
  • n8n and Make nodes — official blocks for building your own automations

How much does Blotato cost?

There are three monthly plans:

  • Starter — $29 a month, 1,250 AI credits, 20 social accounts and unlimited AI writing
  • Creator — $97 a month, 5,000 AI credits, 40 social accounts and faster video processing
  • Agency — $499 a month, 28,000 AI credits, dedicated video processing and a support channel

Credits pay for AI images and video. Writing does not use them. Paying yearly saves about 17%, or two months free, but the page does not list yearly prices.

Every plan has a 7-day free trial with 60 AI credits. You need a card, and you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel. Creating an API key ends the trial early and starts the paid plan.

Who is Blotato for?

Blotato suits solo creators and coaches who publish across many networks and want one long video to fill a week of posts. Agencies can run many client accounts from one login. It also fits people building AI agents or n8n workflows. The API and MCP server let those tools post on their own.

Where does Blotato fall short?

The jump between plans is steep. Starter is $29, then the next step is $97 and the one after that is $499. A growing team can outgrow Starter long before $97 makes sense.

The trial needs a card, and the API is locked during it. If you want to test the automation side, you have to start paying first.

Analytics are thin compared with a dedicated tool. Metrics cover eight platforms, and LinkedIn is not one of them. The refund promise is also vague. Blotato says it will "make it right" within 14 days if something does not work, with no clearer terms.

Is Blotato worth trying?

Yes, if you repurpose long content into many short posts each week. The 7-day trial is long enough to run one full cycle from source to scheduled posts. If you post to one or two networks by hand, a free scheduler will do.
