Magai: Every Major AI Model in One Chat Window
Magai is a paid chat workspace that bundles the big AI models behind one login and one bill. Instead of paying for ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini one by one, you pick the model you want inside the same thread. It is built for people who already use more than one AI tool and are tired of copying text between tabs.
What does Magai do?
Magai gives you one chat screen that talks to many models. The pricing page lists chat models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Meta, Amazon and Perplexity. You can switch from one to another in the middle of a conversation, and the thread keeps its history. That makes it easy to ask Claude for a draft, then hand the same context to GPT for a second opinion.
It also covers images and video. Image models from OpenAI, Flux, Leonardo and Ideogram are included, along with video models from Runway, Kling, MiniMax and Google. All of them run inside the same workspace.
Beyond chat, Magai adds tools for repeat work. Agents store your instructions, files and voice so you do not retype them. Scheduled Tasks run a prompt on a set timetable. You can also connect more than 150 apps, such as Gmail, Slack, Notion and Google Drive, so a model can read or update them.
Which features stand out?
- Mid-chat model switching — change models inside one thread without losing the context
- Agents — saved instructions, files and skills that work with any model (Magai used to call these personas)
- Saved prompts — a searchable library you can share and run on any model
- Memory across models — Magai remembers facts between chats, and you can read, search and delete them
- Workspaces — a separate space per client or brand, each with its own chats, agents and files
- Scheduled Tasks — recurring prompts on a model you choose
- Chat history import — bring in exported ChatGPT and Claude conversations
How much does Magai cost?
There are three plans, all billed monthly by default:
- Standard — $20 a month, with $20 of model usage, every standard model and 100 scheduled task runs
- Pro — $40 a month, with $40 of usage, the premium models and 1,000 task runs
- Ultra — $200 a month, with $200 of usage and unlimited task runs
Usage is counted in dollars, not credits. When you run out you can top up with $5, $10 or $20 without changing plans. Extra team members cost $20 each on Standard. A yearly option saves 17%, but the page does not list the yearly prices.
There is no free plan and no free trial. Magai offers a 30-day money-back guarantee instead, with no reason needed.
Who is Magai for?
Magai suits writers, marketers and consultants who switch between models every day. If you already pay for two or three AI subscriptions, one $20 plan may cost less. Agencies get value from workspaces, since each client stays separate. Small teams can share agents and prompts so everyone works from the same setup.
Where does Magai fall short?
The biggest catch is that you cannot try it for free. You have to pay first and rely on the refund if it does not fit.
The usage model also needs watching. Your plan price is also your usage budget, so heavy use of premium models or video can burn through $20 quickly. You will then top up, and the real monthly cost goes up with it.
Magai also sits between you and the model makers. New features from OpenAI or Anthropic may reach their own apps first. If you only ever use one model, its native app will usually be cheaper and more complete.
Is Magai worth trying?
Yes, if you work across several models. Switching mid-thread and keeping your agents in one place saves real time. The 30-day refund lowers the risk of paying up front. If you stick to one model, skip it and use that model's own app.
