Kickresume is a resume and cover letter builder from Bratislava, Slovakia. It has been running for more than a decade and says 8 million people have used it. The AI writer drafts a whole resume from a job title and a job ad. The templates are the reason most people stay.

What does Kickresume do?

Pick a template and fill in the sections, or let the AI write them. The AI Resume Writer runs on a fine-tuned GPT-4.1 model. Kickresume says it was trained on successful resumes, job ads and recruiter feedback. Give it a job title and the ad you are answering and it drafts the whole resume. You edit any section or ask it to try again.

Resume tailoring is the second AI tool. Paste a job description and Kickresume rewrites your resume to match its keywords. It uses only what is already in your CV. The ATS checker runs more than 20 checks and gives a score. It compares your resume against the best ones in Kickresume's database.

Then the extras. Resume translation between eight languages, including US and UK English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese. A Career Map that reads your resume and suggests paths, with salaries and the skills you are missing for each. A one-click personal website from your resume. Import comes from LinkedIn or a PDF. Apps for iOS and Android sync with the web version. Data is hosted in the European Union under GDPR. Kickresume says an outside security firm pentests its infrastructure.
