What does Resume Worded do?

Score My Resume is the core. Drop in a resume, English only, PDF or Word, under 2 MB. In about 30 seconds you get a score out of 100 and the top issues. The checks cover quantified results, action verbs, filler words, length, section structure and whether an ATS can parse the formatting. The same resume always gets the same score, so you can re-upload after edits and watch it move.

AutoFix does the rewriting. It takes each flagged line and drafts a replacement from your own experience. It asks a question when it needs a number. You approve every change. The result exports as PDF or Word in an ATS-friendly template.

Targeted Resume adds a second score. Paste a job posting and it returns a Relevancy Score with matched and missing keywords. Required skills weigh more than preferred ones. Resume Worded says above 80 means a good match.

LinkedIn Review runs the same idea on a profile. It checks the headline, about section, experience and keywords recruiters search for. What is a good Resume Worded score?

By the company's own guide, 85 and above means the resume has cleared the mistakes hiring managers spot first. 90 and above means every check passes. Resume Worded says almost any resume can reach 90 with the right fixes, which is what AutoFix sells.

For the Relevancy Score against a single job, 80 is the bar. A strong application needs both scores high, not one.

Who is Resume Worded for?

People who want a number, not an opinion. The free score is the fastest honest read on a resume you can get without paying a writer.

Job seekers who edit their own resume. Run the score, fix the flagged lines by hand, re-upload for free, repeat. Many people never need Pro.

LinkedIn-first searches. The profile review is the part most resume tools skip, and here it is a full product.

Career coaches and university services. Resume Worded says both use the score to benchmark clients, and sells a coach plan for it.

Where does Resume Worded fall short?

Monthly Pro is expensive. $49 a month is the highest monthly price among the resume tools here. The yearly rate of $19 is fair, but it is one payment of $229 up front.

The free tier is a diagnosis, not a treatment. You see the score and the top issues. The line-by-line report and every rewrite need Pro.

English only. Non-English resumes are not scored.

The site's own numbers disagree. The homepage says 5 million users and 30 checks. Its information page says 10 million and 20. Neither the "5x more interviews" nor the "3x more interviews at 90+" claim is backed by outside data.

There is no job tracker and no application board. Resume Worded ends where the application starts.

Is Resume Worded worth it?

The free score is worth it for anyone with a resume. Upload, read the top issues, fix them yourself, and re-upload. That loop costs nothing and improves most resumes.
